| Bio: | I'm a quiet, eccentric, bespectacled geek living and working in RTP. I am employed as a software tester for a certain acronymic corporation who shall remain nameless here. My cubicle is kept simple and neat, decorated only with a few small posters (naturally, Edvard Munch's "The Scream" among them) and a dozen action figures or so. I once had a couple figures stolen, and my anger was great. My whiteboard is almost invariably blank, its purity typically only violated to let others know that I am at work in the "LAB." Although there's not a strict dress code, I am nonetheless reluctant to show up with my hair dyed blue. I miss having blue hair. I don't miss the way it stained everything else blue. My apartment is just a couple miles from an airport. It's somewhat interesting to watch them taking off or landing. I can walk to a bookstore and a movie theater, and I do so on a regular basis. A creek runs nearby. I can hear frogs outside on some nights. I found a frog in my bathroom once. At least it wasn't a giant spider. I hate spiders. I hate the summers here. | |
